Seymour Duncan Blackouts AHB-1 Humbucker Set

Seymour Duncan Blackouts are 9-volt active neck and bridge humbuckers that provide more extended frequency response with less compression. Seymour Duncan engineers have captured the tone players want in an active design with the benefits of balanced inputs.

Not only do Seymour Duncan Blackouts active humbuckers have less hum than most active humbuckers, they also have more lows, more highs, and more output. Simply put, the Blackouts have more tone than most active pickups. Players will find far fewer problems with hum, especially near computer monitors and fluorescent lighting.

Blackouts come as a two-pickup set of neck and bridge humbuckers. All versions come with all necessary mounting hardware, including pots, jack, and a battery clip.

Epiphone Les Paul Plustop PRO/FX Electric Guitar

Vintage Sunburst

Honey Burst

Desert Burst

Heritage Sunburst

Epiphone's Les Paul Plus Top Pro/FX has all the great features and looks of a Les Paul but adds a double-locking Floyd Rose tremolo and coil-splitting for an amazing combination of crunch and versatility.

In the neck position is Epiphone's Alnico Classic humbucker, which provides warmth and subtle tone with a full, even response that doesn't hold back when you need that classic humbucker crunch. In the bridge position is the Alnico Classic Plus humbucker. A perfect companion to the Classic, it is overwound for a slightly higher output without sacrificing its rich, vintage tone. Both feature Alnico-II magnets, enamel wire, and are double vacuum waxed. 4-wire output on each pup allows for coil-tapping, and this Les Paul guitar takes full advantage of it with push/pull potentiometers on both volume controls. Combined with the 3-way toggle, these give you 8 killer tones in one great Les Paul guitar.

The Epiphone Pro/FX guitar features a Floyd Rose Special nickel-plated tremolo. The Les Paul body is routed out in back of the tremolo to allow for pitch raising up to 2-1/2 steps while the downward range is wide enough to get the strings slack. It's combined with an R4 locking nut for improved tuning stability. As with all great Epiphone Les Paul guitars, the Pro/FX features a solid Mahogany back with a highly flamed maple top and a solid mahogany neck that's hand-fitted and glued into the body for excellent neck-to-body contact. The neck features a SlimTaper "D" profile that's both comfortable and fast.

Other features on the Epiphone Les Paul guitar include quality Grover machine heads, LockTone Tune-O-Matic/stopbar, and Epiphone's own StrapLocks.

Like the legendary Big Muff Pi of the '70s, the reissue Electro-Harmonix USA Big Muff Pi Distortion/Sustainer Pedal has 3 controls that let you dial in the finest harmonic distortion/sustain ever produced. The Volume control adjusts the output level. The Sustain control optimizes the long sustain with just the right amount of harmonic distortion. The Tone control provides a range of sounds, from warm bass to crisp treble.
The Big Muff Pi is one of the earliest Distortion pedals ever created! This distortion has seen the hands of such musicians as Hendrix and Santana all the way to Chemical Brothers and Korn. The Big Muff has a creamy and violin-like Sustain and fuzz, with a versatile Tone control that can boost low end and midrange. You can emulate classic distortion and overdriven tones that usually come out of a saturated tube amp. Fulltone FatBoost 3 FB-3 Guitar Effects Pedal

The Fulltone FatBoost 3 is a discrete, Class-A, FET (Field-Effect-Transistor) guitar pedal offering up to 35dB of non-distorted gain without changing your signature sound, unless you want that. You can fatten/distort your tone, brighten or mellow up the sound, add or subtract bass, and even add harmonics. The FB-3 has true-bypass switching (via the Fulltone 3PDT) and incorporates a super-bright LED without the loud popping sound thanks to Fulltone's proprietary anti-pop circuitry.

FET's can behave like tubes in a properly designed circuit. They can clip (distort) in a pleasing way instead of being buzzy or spiky-sounding (like a transistor) and can also add a subtle limiting to the signal which can even out the volume making your live and recorded tones more pleasing to the ear. If you're a recording engineer, you'll be happy to know you can use the Fulltone FatBoost 3 on everything from acoustic and electric guitar to electric bass, and even snare drums.

The FatBoost 3 pedal works great in front of non-Master Volume tube amps to goose them into submission, as well as through Master Volume amps to drive them much harder than possible with just your guitar alone. It also works very well on bass, acoustic guitars (with pickups), and is ideal at the end of a pedalboard effects chain to completely eliminate the tone loss caused by long guitar cable runs back to your amp. Doing so will allow the use of 50' (or longer) cable lengths with no signal degradation whatsoever.

This version of the Fulltone FatBoost (FB-3) incorporates all of the things that people have loved about previous versions of these effects pedals in the past without any of the shortcomings. It brings back the 11-step FET Bias Drive knob that was missing from the FB-2. You'll notice that this knob makes a slight scraping noise when you turn it. Fear not, as that is totally normal, and is simply the sound of the Bias changing and settling on the FET MuAmp. The FatBoost 3 gives you the feeling that your amp is cranked at living room volumes so your playing is more dynamic and notes hold on longer without being distorted. It makes up for all the tone loss that (even true-bypass) pedals impart to your sound, especially if you have a lot of pedals on your pedalboard.

Features:

  • 11-position gain control
  • Additional stage of FET
  • Cures v1's huge bass increase and dull high-end issues
  • Class-A, FET (Field-Effect-Transistor)
  • 35db of non-distorted gain
  • Super-bright LED
  • 5-year Warranty
  • Instructions
